Although playing an instrument is not a requirement for taking part in SaMM, we absolutely encourage all our students to begin that musical journey.
The rewards of learning to play an instrument are many - apart from the obvious joy of making music, playing an instrument helps with social skills, numeracy and literacy and generally navigating through the different challenges and opportunities that life presents.
The first question is 'Which instrument do I want to learn?'
Once you and your child have made a choice, we will be able to help you get an instrument and find a teacher.
This is the beginning of an exciting, inspiring and rewarding journey that lasts a lifetime!
